I was intrigued because I had seen Volume 1 which had a lighter, more grim look to it Don't get me wrong, it's a cool book but I would like to get the 1e as well.

I purchased a physical copy of this book from Northwinds. It plays handily at the table, even should you port the system to another setting. I think the developers of the world's oldest roleplaying game would be proud of this interpretation of their legacy.
