So i went and and un subbed all my mods that i had recently downloaded. Still failed to join so i tested the game cache a few times. So ideleted the game.
Renstalled it and the issue persists As of my most recent delete and renstall of this game i have been able to join a vanillia game. But as as soon as i subbed to one of the workshop mods the game crashed and it failed to download. If anyone can help me i would really appreciate it.

Last edited by Dad ; 25 Oct, pm. That just means you have no mods installed if you're looking in the correct place. Relaunch Steam as admin and try to download the mods again. It could be an issue with Steam itself.
You're not the only person complaining about mod issues tonight. i relanched running as admin. i subscribed to a mod waited a litttle bit lanched ark. Once on ark on the main menu in the coner it said it was installing one mod. where it said waiting for steam client to start mod download. i was unable to refresh mods during this time. and most mods on the work shop dont go over kb so my download speed isnt the issue.

I am currently using this trick as a temporary fix, by downloading a random free game when I want new mods. This trick works with Day of Infamy and Hearts of Iron 4, so I assume it will for all games. #1 20/1/ · 1. You subscribe to the mod 2. You hit play in your library for Skyrim and the launch menu appears. 3. Now wait for the mod to download, it may take a few minutes. You can see the progress of the download in the top right corner of the launch menu. 4. Once it downloads and syncronizes hit play in the launch window to start the game Next open the Steam client > navigate the Library tab > right-click the affected game > choose Properties.
